"Summer Extra Credit"
​School's out for summer, time to take a break from homework and relax! Instead of creating for a grade, why not try your hand at something fun? This page is dedicated to our Summer publications, where instead of asking for repolished homework assignments, we provide a prompt or theme that lets you make whatever you like! Of course, any pieces submitted for Summer Extra Credit still have to follow our Submission Guidelines, so don't forget to look over those!
Do you enjoy pondering the biological implications of Bigfoot’s existence? Are you passionate about the possibility of Nessie actually living in Loch Ness? Or perhaps you prefer to send Mothman unreciprocated soliloquies in the form of love poems? Whatever your connection to these crazed cryptids is, whether its poetry, speculative essays or pure fiction, we have a home for all of it here. If you’re feeling particularly brave, you can make up a creature all on your own! Submission period lasts from May 21st to August 6th!
